Video: Stop searching for your passion - Terri Trespicio
What is your passion, a question that I used to ask myself alot especially when it comes to my career path. But the answer is never easy for me because if there is something constant in my life then the things Im passionate about. That's why I get frustrated when I think of that question.
Terri Trespicio summed in one phrase will be:
Don't wait for passion to show up because you'll be waiting a long time. Passion will come when you take action!
Take apportunities that shows up and be passionate about them and you shall succeed!
This is such a beautiful and inspiring message for me!

Beninese music: Sessime feat Rico Amaj - Fana Fana
Sessime is my musical oppsession from the last year. Once I listened to her song "Yayaye" that was featured with Togolese singer Almok. I enjoyed that song to bites, especially during the summertime. Born as Bidossessi Christelle Guédou her stage name Sessime derives from her first name Bidossessi that means "Everything depends on destiny" or "Everything is in the hands of God". The Beninese singer describes her music as AfroRockPop. She mixes different languages like French, English, Fon and Yoruba. Her first album Wazakoua won many important national awards.
Sessime discovered her passion for music with the tender age of 13 years through her parents. Great stars like Michael Jackson, Angelique Kidjo, Whitney Houston and Alicia Keys inspired her.
Sessime released a new song called "Fana Fana" with Ivoirian singer Rico Amaj.

Yep, this video made my day. This is the sad truth of those Instagram picture that we women enjoy so much. Wow, I'm impressed by the talent of Belgian Superstar Stromae. Thanks to Instergram, I saw an Ad of him and I klicked spontanious, just to be surprised my an genious musician. I'm blown away of his music, his performance, his lyrics the sound! This guy is Great! I'm so emotional right now you can't imagine. I love it if you can feel, hear and see all the hardwork he put in all his songs. His lyrics are definitely worth listining, his sounds are cashy, his voice is great- everything on point! No wonder household names like Kanye West and Madonna are fans of him! I believe a great musician shows his brilliance best on Stage, and Stromae is GREAT on Stage.

Thank you Mark Zuckerberg!
![]() |
Mark Zuckerberg |
Thank you Mark Zuckerberg, I really feel touched by your statement about stigmatizing ALL Muslims. I'm not a Muslim but I really feel for the innocent Muslim believers who just want to live their lifes. Why can't we just condemn terrorists as such and leave the religion outside?
Read Mark Zuckerberg statement
"I want to add my voice in support of Muslims in our community and around the world," He wrote. "After the Paris attacks and hate this week, I can only imagine the fear Muslims feel that they will be persecuted for the actions of others.
As a Jew, my parents taught me that we must stand up against attacks on all communities. Even if an attack isn't against you today, in time attacks on freedom for anyone will hurt everyone. If you're a Muslim in this community, as the leader of Facebook I want you to know that you are always welcome here and that we will fight to protect your rights and create a peaceful and safe environment for you. Having a child has given us so much hope, but the hate of some can make it easy to succumb to cynicism. We must not lose hope. As long as we stand together and see the good in each other, we can b!uild a better world for all people."

Watch video - Wake up Africa!
One of many reasons the African continent can't emerge to become great. The continent is still enslaved by Western Industries. We have the resources but we don't benefit from it. They keep our presidents shut by mesmerizing them with money and some privileges and make us the population believe that they are helping us with their so called development aids! We must wake up and stand our ground!

I really love the confidence that Sean Stephenson shows in this speech, it is fierce!
There are three life lessons I learned in his speech, Never pity or bully yourself or your condition, because it limit your abilities! Learn to love yourself, except things that you can't change in your life and move on with a positive mindset. Carry yourself with confidence and most of all, have love for yourself!

Meet! Ekky - singer from Uganda
![]() |
Ekky |
Anybody who follow my blog since the beginning, will notice my love for Ugandan music. I fell in love 2009 when I listened to my first Ugandan song by the artist David Lutalo ft. Bebe Cool which was "I can see" I listened to that song many times a day but I wouldn't be fed up with it, up till now it is one of my favorite songs. Especially the female artist got my attention, such as Blue 3, Ray C, Sylvia Namugenyi, JulianKanyomozi, Rema, Benah Namisinga just to mention a few.
The song used in that video was from the Ugandan songstress Ekky, the songs name is Do you remember me I loved it from the first beat, so I tried to find out more about her music, and what can I say; she is great!
Ekky is a singer and songwriter residing in Ugandan capital city Kampala.
She is the daughter of a neurosurgeon (father) and a banker (mother), she has one little brother. She moved to London to persue her studies in the Aberystwyth University in Wales. In 2009 she gradueted with an LLB law degree. She worked shortly in London but decided to return to Uganda to follow her dream of becoming a singer.

Passengers tilt train to free trapped man's leg
Hello guys, this story is soo touching, got to share it witz you!
Passengers in an Australian station saved a fellow traveler from an unfortunate situation by joining forces. The man was stuck with one leg between train and track.
People power has been used to free a man who became trapped between the platform and a train at a Perth station yesterday morning.
Scores of passengers, together with staff at Stirling station, managed to tilt the carriage so the man could free his leg which was wedged in the gap.
The man was boarding a Perth-bound train at about 8:50am when he slipped and became stuck.
"He stood in the doorway and as he was sort of taking up his position there, one leg slipped outside the door, slipped outside the gap, and he was stuck," he said.
"Then our staff who were there at the time got the passengers, and there were lots of them, off the train, and organised them to sort of rock, tilt the train backwards away from the platform so they were able to get him out and rescue him."
Mr Hynes said the train was stationary when he slipped.

Africa is the future
Just found this on youtube and want to share it with you guys.
Africa is an oppurtunity for great businesses in all sectors. The video sumption it all up. Africa as a continent is the future not a faillure as the western media always like to show.
This continent is gaining more value in the international community, and I believe it is legitimate.
Ebola and other crisis can't bring this glowing future down!
Aliko Dangote, the richest man of africa just announced at the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit: "At Dangote Group, we have two major partnerships: Dangote has partnered with BlackStone by investing $5 billion in infrastructure and power across Africa. With this, we will close the gap. And we are going to be very serious. "We are also investing $1 Billion in to petroleum and financial services."
This is a good start I think!

What is the meaning of... Sarah
One of my wonderful Facebook follower asked me recently, what the meaning of her name Sarah is. So I thought of creating a post about the meaning of Sarah. In the Bible, Sarah was the wife of Abraham and mother of Isaac. Her name was originally Sarai (quarrelsome), but God commanded that her name be changed to Sarah before the birth of her son. The Hebrew name Sarah indicates a woman of high rank and is translated as "princess" or "noblewoman"
Popular women the the name Sarahare: Sarah Jessica Parker (Sex and the City) and Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy)

In Muslim the meaning of the name Sarah is: Pure. Happy.

HIV protection gel for women - very soon reality
Drugs applied three hours after infection could protect female monkeys from a type of HIV, US scientists said.
The findings, published in Science Translational Medicine, could lead to new ways to fight HIV, which is continuing to spread globally.
Experts say large clinical trials would be needed to test any new treatment, and condoms remain the best defence.
Vaginal gels containing HIV medicines have had mixed success in human clinical trials.
In the latest research, a US team took a different approach, testing a new HIV treatment in monkeys that has the potential to work after HIV exposure.
They found the gel protected five out of six monkeys from an animal-human laboratory strain of HIV when applied shortly before or three hours after infection.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia, which led the study, say it is a "proof of concept" in an animal model.
Dr Charles Dobard, of the division of HIV/Aids prevention, told BBC News: "It's a promising after-sex vaginal gel to prevent HIV infection.
"Studies still need to be done to look at the window [of opportunity] - is it six, eight, 24 hours?"

But on this occasion, he decided to do some good by setting up the fake lottery win to make the man's day, giving him the $ 1,000 to keep for real.
“The homeless man’s selfless gesture immediately went viral, inspiring fans to ask Rahat to help them do something for Eric, too.
“Rahat set up a fundraising page on Thursday with the hopes of collecting $20,000 to help Eric get back on his feet. As of Monday afternoon, the campaign had collected more than $30,000.
“Rahat has also continued spending time with Eric. He has posted fundraising updates on Twitter, and shared a photo of himself, his videographer, Trey, and Eric after the three had lunch together on Sunday.
“During an “Ask Me Anything” on Reddit on Thursday, Rahat said that he put Eric up in a hotel for two weeks.”
Thanks to Eric, Rahat and the Internet for proving that humanity isn’t always awful.

Nigerian man stripped off his clothing and beaten by South African policemen (video)
This is such a shame!
A man believed to be a Nigerian was stripped off his clothing and beaten by South African police. The man was handcuffed and made no great resistance! Some kicks were directed at his genital area. This happened in broad daylight on a busy in the Kesington Street, Cape Town. The incredible fact was recorded by an eye-witness in a high rise and put on Youtube. Due to the massive outrage on social networks, meanwhile, the Competent Authority has taken the first steps. On his own Twitter account, the Authority wrote the following: "Alleged conduct by WC Kensington members - WC Prov Commissioner's Office Instituted steps to establish_link the facts & take the matter further."
No one deserves to be treated that way. I hope that those involved receive appropriate punishment.

Do you believe in reincarnation?
A question that everyone has asked at least once in life: Is there reincarnation?
The science has not yet found an answer, and yet there are many who believe in it.
I found this video from the web and I was amazed at the similarity between current stars with deceased people.
