Priest died during the wedding ceremony

During a ceremony in Bavaria, a Catholic priest died of a heart attack. The 47-year-old had just started with the religious ceremony when he fell in front of the German-Italian couple and their wedding guests. A spokeswoman for the Ordinariate of the Archbishop confirmed on Tuesday in Munich.

The corpulent priest had felt unwell before the wedding on Saturday. After the festive entry into the monastery church the priest sang a song began to pray, but then stopped and collapsed. "It was terrible," said the organist of the church service.

The bride and the groom had been married a little later by another priest in a nearby church.
