Today is the birthday of a
Nollywood diva! There is talk of the incredibly adorable
Kate Henshaw Nuttal! She is celebrating her 41th birthday today.

Henshaw-Nuttall is the oldest of four children. After completing her primary and secondary school in Lagos and Calabar, she spent one year at the University of Calabar remedial reading studies, and then majored in Medical Microbiology. Henshaw-Nuttall worked at the Bauchi State General hospital. In 1993 she began her acting career with the movie When the Sun sets in total she was cast in over 40 films.
In 2008 she won the
African Movie Academy Award for
Best Actress in a Leading Role for the film Stronger than Pain.
In 1999, Henshaw Nuttal-met and married British-born
Roderick James Nuttal. In 2000, the couple welcomed their first and only child, a daughter, Ella Nuttall. Since 2011 they have filed for divorce.
