Music: Miss Jojo ft. Michael Ross - Hooked on you

Miss Jojo is a famous singer from Rwanda. Born in Bugesera, Eastern Province, Miss JoJo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the National University of Rwanda.
She is a famous R&B artiste and has won prestigious local and regional music awards including the 2007 National University of Rwanda Rector Excellence Award 2007 -Best Female Artist and, PAM Awards 2008-Best Rwandan Female Artiste, among others. She made a big step recently when she chooses to convert to Islam. But as soon as she converted, everything around her changed. Most of her fans received the news with a lot of skepticism- accusing her to have converted to impress her manager/lover.
Yet the singer, who changed her name from Josiane to Iman, insists that choosing Islam is the best thing she has ever done.
“I don’t regret a thing,” she says. “Despite all the negativity I have faced since converting to Islam, my entire life has changed for the better. I have dealt with each stressful situation calmly and peacefully.
I have found a new inner strength from my religion,” said Miss JoJo.
I think she has made a very courageous decision and must be respected. I believe that everyone has the right to choose his religion.

Have a (Fun-) FriDAY!

No! to domestic violence!

Domestic violence has reached a new dimension. This is a video showing Arafat Dj, a well known musician from Cote D'Ivoire. The singer does not only beats his girlfriend but he threw dishes at her. After this video was released, the singer justifies himself by saying that allegations were made that his girlfriend cheated on him. For what, what kind of man is this? Women say no, to domestic violence, even if he pays your bills and provides you a good life, no man has the right to beat a woman. To men who beat: How would you feel if someone beats your mother, sister, or daughter? I'm sure you would never forgive that person!
